Comment by Wayne Caswell on March 14, 2009 at 9:22am - Read my paper, "Soil Issues for Residential Construction," to understand why expansive soils are so hard to build on without foundation problems. While the technique shown in this video will help prevent dome and edge heave that cracks concrete slab foundations, it won't completely resplace the risks.
