Love Canal is just one neighborhood near Niagra Falls. Potentially more devastating are the thousands of square miles of cotton farming fields now being urbanized with new homes and schools. Cotton farming spans from California to Georgia with Texas being the biggest cotton growing state. Read "Soil Issues for Residential Construction" for more on the health risks of arsenic contamination from decades of boll weevil pesticide and defoliant use.
