Garage floor slab cracks in new Lennar Home

The home is less than two months old and shows the risks of building homes on expansive clay soils that can expand up to 30% when wet and exert 25,000 pounds per square foot of pressure. Even post-tensioned slab foundations fail under these condititions unless specifically engineered for the soil conditions.
