High Cotton is a 5:45min song and slide show about cotton farming from planting to harvest. It could accompany a presentation on arsenic contamination from boll weevil pesticide use and from the use of arsenic as a defoliant. Arsenic does not break down and remains in the soil, making cotton fields a poor candidate for urbanization. The health risks when building homes and schools there are too great.
