Homeowners of Texas, Inc (H.O.T.) is a non-profit corporation, formed in May'08 to make Texas builders accountable to homeowners.

HOT advocates policies that will privide effective consumer protections and dispute resolution while improving the quality of both new and remodeled homes. These policies will also establish higher professional standards for builders and the construction trades they hire, thus improving their income potential. Others industries that will benefit from such policies include realtors and insurance companies, as well as the communities they serve.

And the anticipated increases in home quality and property value improve the tax base that funds our public safety and our kids' education.
